Health Coaching is a partnership between coach and client where the coach fully supports their client by providing education, empowerment and accountability to meet any desired outcomes/goals.

 

Many individuals know what they are doing or not doing to meet/not meet their goals but they never take action or hold themselves accountable. This is where the health coach steps in and really digs deep to understand their client and they then come together to make a plan that works specifically for them. 

 

The first session with me will take about an hour and will be focused purely on what you want. I recommend to my clients to have a very clear, very detailed picture of the life they desire. The following sessions will be broken up into very specific pieces of the goal/dream they want first. Focusing on one piece at a time is the only way to make sure the change is long lasting and sustainable. 

What is Health Coaching?

Most people know what they are doing that is compromising their goals. They also know what they aren’t doing to achieve an assigned goal. Health coaching with me will empower you to strategize, prioritize and plan how to take action then make sure you have accountability paired with those actions. Sometimes you won’t know where to start and I will be that support system you need to brainstorm ideas.

Why is Health Coaching Important?

Our initial session together would first address any questions you may have about the health coaching process. Then the fun begins by exploring what you really want out of your coaching experience. We will discuss short and long term goals/visions, what you really value in life and what some of your strengths and weaknesses are. We would then come up with a schedule on how to proceed with follow up sessions.

 

The first follow up session will allow us to focus on a specific situation or habit that you would like to change and/or explore that would put you on the right path to long term sustainable change.

 

All follow up sessions after that will build on the previous session. For example if we discussed a new habit the week before such as increasing the amount of vegetables you consume with every meal, we would figure out if this has become a habit or not. If you feel like you are struggling with the discussed habit/behavior change we would figure out together how to proceed next.

 

Please be aware that I will not be telling you what to do. I will be there to educate you when needed but mostly be right by your side figuring out what is the next best foot to put forward for you which can be drastically different for each person.
